Sheri L Balkwill Collinge

Sheri Lynn Collinge, 52, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015.

She was born February 25, 1963 in Sarnia, Ontario to Basil and Dolores Collinge, the previous owners of Port Huron Towing.

Sheri worked at Family Christian Stores. She was a member of Colonial Woods Missionary Church and enjoyed reading and watching birds.

She is survived by her son, Garrett Balkwill, and his father, Charles Joseph “Joe” Balkwill; a sister, Susan (Timothy) Hunt; two brothers, Robert (Nancy) Collinge and Donald (Sandra) Collinge; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and David Collinge; and a sister, Ellen Jo Hinton.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2015 in Colonial Woods Missionary Church with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Pastors Stan Liechty and Keith Miller will officiate.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Gratiot.

Memorials may be made to Joe Balkwill for Garrett’s education.
