Humberto Sanchez

Humberto Sanchez, Sr., 51, of Marysville, died Saturday, August 1, 2015, in St. Joseph Mercy - Port Huron.

He was born March 17, 1964 in Mercedes, TX, to the late Rogelio and Antonia Sanchez. He married Maria A. Rodriguez on June 6, 1981 in Imlay City, Michigan. .

Mr. Sanchez was a U.S. Army veteran and worked for many years as a press operator at Michigan Metal Coating in Sterling Heights. He loved fishing and being with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Maria A.; his children, Lisa (Miguel) Jaramillo, Humberto Sanchez, Jr., and Juanita Studier; nine grandchildren; five brothers, Jaime (Margie) Sanchez, Carlos (Courtney) Sanchez, Henry (Marchell) Sanchez, Uvaldo Sanchez and Julio Sanchez; and two sisters, Teresa Sanchez and Seberiana Cross. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Rogelio, Jr. and Jose Sanchez.

A Rosary will be recited at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the Mt. Hope Cemetery Chapel, Port Huron. Rev. James Arwady will officiate.

Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the Veteran’s Honor Guard Alliance.
