Michael Hayes

Michael P. Hayes, 54, of Macomb County, died peacefully on Wednesday, August 5, 2015.

He was born December 8, 1960 in Detroit to Frank and Carol Hayes. He married Kathy Langolf on October 9, 1993 in Trinity Lutheran Church.

Michael was a long time employee of the U.S. Postal Service. He was an avid golfer and loved watching sports, especially the Red Wings.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; a son, Cody Hayes; his mother, Carol Hayes; stepmother, Gilda (Bill) Moskal; two brothers, Bill (Marty) Hayes and Christopher Hayes; a sister, Kathy Hayes; and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank, in 2000.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday in the Marysville Funeral Home, 1200 Michigan.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 10, 2015 in the Marysville Funeral Home. The Rev. Max Amstutz will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, St. Clair. Pallbearers will be Cody, Bill and Christopher Hayes, Eric Langolf, Bill Moskal, Byron Comp.
