Scott A Rozumny
October 18th, 1968 to August 13th, 2015
Scott A. Rozumny, beloved husband of Lori (Shepherd), passed away unexpectedly at the age of 46 on August 13, 2015. Scott and Lori have been married since September 26, 1998.
Scott was born on October 18, 1968 in Detroit, Michigan. After graduating from Lincoln Senior High School in 1987, Scott honorably served his country as a Navy helicopter mechanic for four years; participating in both Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm.
Following his tour of duty, Scott used his mechanic skills as a screw machinist and was employed at Huron Automatic Screw in Marysville until the time of his death.
At home, Scott was an amazing cook - known for his beloved burritos. He also used his many talents in home repair; including building his own home with Lori. Scott also enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was bass fishing on Fletcher’s Pond, deer hunting, four wheeling or snowmobiling on Anchor Bay, or just spending time playing with his beloved canine friends.
Scott loved NASCAR and was an avid Tony Stewart fan. It was a common sight for him to crack open a Busch light with his best friend Shawn Cobb as they cheered on their favorite drivers.
Scott is survived by his wife, Lori; his parents, Dale and Roxanne Neumann; father-in-law, Clifford Shepherd; siblings, Danielle (Scott) Geach and Shannon (Don) McGlone; children, Anthony (Ashley) Fiscelli and Aaron (Randi Lynn) Fiscelli; grandchildren, Reese Fiscelli and Adalynn Fiscelli; and his “fur children,” Stewart and Paige Rozumny.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Wanda Shepherd and “fur children,” Cyrus and Darla Rozumny.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2015 in the Marysville Funeral Home. Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the United States Navy.
