Wanda A Fetting

March 12th, 1921 to August 31st, 2015
Wanda A. Fetting, 94, formerly of Marysville, passed away Monday, August 31, 2015.

She was born March 12, 1921 in Sanilac County to the late John and Glenna Stark. She grew up on the family farm and attended Sandusky High School, graduating in 1938. She then graduated from the Mt. Clemens School of Cosmetology and worked as a Cosmetologist for 40 years.

Wanda married Ralph Fetting on October 12, 1940. They lived in Marysville for 40 years where the family attended the Marysville Schools. She and Ralph started spending time in Tucson and decided to move there full time in 1978. After Ralph’s death on July 19, 2010, Wanda lived in Independence, Missouri for four years.

She was a pianist and organist and served the Community of Christ Church of which she was a lifetime member since her baptism in 1931.

Wanda is survived by three children, Sandra (Robert) Moyer, Richard (Sue Ann) Fetting, and Nancy (Duane) Bennatts; foster daughter, Barbara Snow; and ten grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 4, 2015 in Wadhams Grove Community of Christ.

Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery, Watertown, at 3 p.m.
