Raymond D Mannahan
Raymond Douglas Mannahan, 68, of St. Clair Township, died Tuesday, September 8, 2015.
He was born September 9, 1946 in Highland Park to the late George and Nancy Mannahan. He married Elizabeth Hoag on September 8, 1992.
Mr. Mannahan was a custodian with the East China School District for over 30 years and previously worked for Chrysler Corporation. He served in the U.S. Navy. Raymond loved sports, especially wrestling, the Tigers and Red Wings.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; four stepchildren, Lee Anne Brown, Tresa (Brian) Losey, Lori (Douglas) Page and John Salmons; 11 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Loretta (Jerry) Soles and Nora (Dick) Lewis; a brother-in-law, Carl Maness; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by two stepchildren, Robert Hoag and Beth Hover; a sister, Carol Maness; and a brother, Stephen Mannahan.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2015 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon. Pastor Mitch Olson of Grace Ministry Center will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
