Marjorie Ella Hoelscher, 92, of Port Huron, formerly of Dearborn, died October 24, 2015.
She was born November 17, 1922 in Detroit to the late Oscar and Ella Schettler. She married Walter Hoelscher on August 22, 1944 in Detroit. He preceded her in death in March 1980.
Mrs. Hoelscher was a bookkeeper for a stock brokerage firm. She enjoyed talking to people, knitting, cooking, making wedding cakes, and competitive ballroom dancing.
She is survived by two children, Drew Hoelscher and Vicki (Rev. Bruce) Clark; two grandchildren, Carrie (Sergio) Gonzalez and Nicholas (Michelle) Clark; two nieces, a nephew and several cousins. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Jenks.
Private family services will be held in the spring.
