Harold O Parmann

Harold Oliver “Harry” Parmann, 69 of Marine City, formerly of Marysville, died unexpectedly Thursday, November 12, 2015.
He was born August 7, 1946 in Port Huron Township to the late Victor K. R. and Cornelia E. Parmann. He married Patricia “Patty” Walsh on February 20, 1996 in Hawaii.
Harry retired from Ford Motor Company in 2000 after 32 years of service. He was always busy “working”, and loved the outdoors, hunting, traveling, and spending time with his grandkids. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife, Patty; three daughters, Jeanne (Bob) Westrick of Marine City, Joanie (Chris) Roehl of Kimball, and Julie Parmann (Jeff Dawson) of Jeddo; ten grandchildren, Alyssa, Aydrea, Collin, Haileigh, Harrison, Addison, Jackson, Maison, Sydney, and Sean; step-son, D.J. Bodnar; step-daughter, Danielle Bodnar; four brothers and four sisters; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-7 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2015 with Funeral Services following at 7:00 p.m. in the Marysville Funeral Home, 1200 Michigan Avenue, Marysville. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.
Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be Bob Westrick, Chris Roehl, Jeff Dawson, D.J. Bodnar, Collin Westrick, and Harrison Roehl.
Memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
