Eldred Raymond “John” Fledderjohann, 83, of Marysville, died Monday, December 14, 2015.
He was born March 17, 1932 in New Knoxville, Ohio to the late Raymond and Irene Fledderjohann. He graduated in 1950 from Sidney High School in Sidney, Ohio. He married Marylove Beck on August 18, 1950 in Piqua, Ohio.
Eldred was a journeyman Mold Maker by trade. He attended Brown City Missionary Church and loved the Lord Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marylove; four children, Cynthia (John) Chester of Waterford, Richard (Nancy) Fledderjohann of Yale, Michael (Joyce) Fledderjohann of Lima, Ohio and Renee (Tony) Hampton of Marysville; 17 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and his sister, Ginny (Cliff) Lewis. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Evelyn Sudmann.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2015 in Brown City Missionary Church, 8935 Burnside Road, Brown City, with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Eldred’s son, the Rev. Richard Fledderjohann, will officiate.
Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville. Pallbearers will be Eldred’s family.
Memorial contributions may be made to Brown City Missionary Church or Blue Water Hospice. Arrangements are by the Marysville Funeral Home.
