Edward LeRoy Dudd, 74, of St. Clair Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born February 21, 1941 in Port Huron to the late George and Dorothy Dudd. He married Carol Ann Loxton on January 23, 1981 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Ed was a semi-tanker driver. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Marysville American Legion Post #449 and Voiture 120 St. Clair County 40/8. He enjoyed fishing and going to the casino, but most importantly, spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; two children, Robert (Laura) Loxton Jr. and Laurie (LeRoy) Campbell; five grandchildren, Kristen and Ryan Loxton, Alexa Stanko, and Marley and Kyle Campbell; a sister-in-law, Linda (David) Moran; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his faithful K-9 companion, Lily. He was preceded in death by his brother, George Dudd; and parents-in-law, Irene and Robert Curtis.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
