Dianna L "Dee Dee" Walker

Dianna Lynn “Dee Dee” Walker, 69, of Fort Gratiot, died Sunday, January 3, 2016.

She was born July 9, 1946 in Port Huron.

Mrs. Walker enjoyed dancing and cross stitch. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by two children, Tina (Joseph) Walker-Condo and William G. Walker III; four grandchildren, William Corey Walker, Kiera Walker, Alicia Earley and Aliyah Condo; great grandchildren, Connor, Carter, Athena, C.J. and Oliver; her father, Gilbert (Lucy) Ruiz Sr.; her siblings, Gilbert C. (Sylvia) Ruiz, Maria Hernandez, Juan (Lori) Ruiz Sr., Gilbert Ruiz, Ryan Ruiz and Ruby Molina; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a sister, Suzanne Ruiz; her mother, Alicia Hernandez and a brother-in-law, Joseph Hernandez.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Thursday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

Mrs. Walker will lie in state from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 8, 2016 in Our Lady of Guadalupe Hispanic Mission. The Rev. Brian Cokonougher will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron. Pallbearers will be Jim McIntyre, Chase McFarlane, Corey Walker, Jeremy Jalbert, Larry Ruiz, Ethan Ruiz and Connor Walker.
