Thomas Henry Lovelady, 76, of Marysville, died Sunday, February 21, 2016.

He was born January 16, 1940 in Detroit.

Mr. Lovelady was a plant operator with Detroit Edison at the Monroe, Fermi and Marysville Power Plants. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of Marysville American Legion Post 449. He enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, vacationing in Tawas and visiting with his family.

He is survived by three daughters, Mary Lovelady of Monroe, Suzanne (Russ) Poe of Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania and Catherine (Mark) Jadus of Newark, New York; and six grandchildren, Joshua Smith, Emilie, Katelyn and Hunter Poe, and Tyler and Courtney Jadus. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph; his mother and step-father Jeanne and Hubert Moore; and an aunt and uncle, Richard and Shirley Prescott.

Services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, February 26, 2016 in the Marysville Funeral Home 1200 Michigan Avenue, Marysville with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. The Rev. Joseph DeHass will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.

Burial will be in Oakland Hills Cemetery at a later date.
