Charles "Chuck" Smith

My brother, Charles “Chuck” Smith, 61, of Port Huron, died Saturday, March 5, 2016 in Fort Gratiot.

He was born September 18, 1954 in St. Clair Michigan to Shirley M. and the late Charles F. Smith. Chuck was formerly employed with Farmer Jack and Chrysler Corporation. He had no contact with any family members for many years. It saddens me to think how alone he must have felt at the end of his life.

He is survived by our mother, Shirley Smith, and myself, his brother, Thomas Smith, both of Florida; two nephews, Tommy Smith and Chris Smith of Michigan; a daughter, Jennifer Stasinski of Michigan; an aunt, Phyllis Egan, and cousins, Mary Egan, Judy Richter, Mike Egan, and Patty Plant, all of Michigan; and an uncle, Bud (Char) Thomas, and cousins, Trisha Ohern and Terry Thomas, all of Maryland.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
