Noah O Moran

Noah Orin Moran, 88, of Port Huron died Sunday, March 6, 2016.

He was born June 3, 1927 in Lambs, Michigan to the late Millard and Gertrude Moran. He married Sylvia Nygaard on August 6, 1949.

Mr. Moran served in both the Merchant Marines and the U.S. Navy. For many years he was employed as a carpenter, many of those with White Builders Construction.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Sylvia; daughters, Mikelyn (Robert) Burnell, Linda Moran, Marci (Robert) Spiotta; grandchildren, Rachel (John) Schleusener, Jamie (Heather) Burnell, Jeremy Burnell, Lexi Spiotta, and Madison Spiotta; and great granddaughter, Morgan Burnell. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Connie Root.

Memorial services will be held at 11:30 am Friday, March 11, 2016 in Colonial Woods Missionary Church with visitation from 10:30 am until the time of service. The Reverend Phil Whetstone will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Navy.
