Jesus Rosales, Sr., 90, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at home surrounded by his family.
He was born November 12, 1925 in Eagle Pass, TX to the late Andres and Josefina Rosales. He married Gertrude June Robertson on March 27, 1948 in Port Huron. She proceeded him in death on October 27, 2013.
Mr. Rosales was employed with Foster & Tates Building Supply. He was a member of Blue Water Free Methodist Church. Jesus was very close to his son-in-law and enjoyed working on cars with him. He also enjoyed deer hunting and camping.
He is survived by a daughter, Hope (John) Jones; 3 sons, Charles (Linda) Chapman, Jesus Rosales, Jr., and Larry (Lora) Rosales; 20 grandchildren; 25 great- grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Lynn Rosales; and brother, Andrew Rosales.
Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
