Mary A Falk
Mary Alice Falk, 86, of Port Huron died Wednesday, March 23, 2016 after a long battle with cancer.
She was born November 21, 1929 in New Era, Michigan to the late Joseph and Alice Eilers. She married John Falk on October 30, 1954 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on February 18, 2000.
For many years Mary owned and operated an in-home day care. She enjoyed quilting, tending to her rose garden, riding her bike and watching The Lawrence Welk Show. She had a big heart and supported many charitable activities.
She is survived by her children, John (Liz) Falk, Mary (Ed) Hutton, Janice (Timothy) O’Connor, Joseph Falk and David (Nikki) Falk; grandchildren, John Falk, Maribeth (Greg) Wolters, David Falk (Bridgette Hamblin), Kathleen Hutton (Craig Wilder) and Andrew O’Connor (Megan Torello); great grandchildren, Brenden Rushkewicz, Keeley O’Connor and Elena Wolters; granddaughter-in-law, Christina O’Connor; sister, Bernadine Scott; sisters-in-law, Anna and Donna; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Peter, Joseph, Andrew, Stephen and Raymond Eilers; grandson, Christopher O’Connor; and great granddaughter, Nyree VanCamp.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2016 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Deacon Dennis Crimmins of Holy Trinity Parish will officiate.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
Memorials may be made to Blue Water Hospice.
