William P Repp
William Peter Repp, 82, of Port Huron, died Friday, June 24, 2016.
He was born October 9, 1933 in Lexington to the late Joseph and Ann Repp. He married Arlyce Noreen Darlington on January 30, 1966 in Lexington. She died July 6, 2011.
Mr. Repp was a soil conservation inspector with the U.S. Department of Agriculture for over 30 years, retiring in 1988. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and bowling and was an avid card player. He was a baseball pitcher in high school and college, a former little league manager and enjoyed playing softball.
He is survived by his son, Mark (Amy) Repp; six siblings, James (Celeste) Repp, Mary Jean Pierce, Janet (Robert) Branch, Robert (Diana) Repp, Neil (Janet) Repp and Judith (Gene) Butler; a sister-in-law, Arleen Alexander; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, John “Red” Pierce and Gerald Alexander.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2016 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Dr. Tom Brown will officiate.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
Pallbearers will be Mark Repp, James Repp, Robert Repp, Neil Repp, Gene Butler, David Repp, Paul Repp and Kevin Pierce.
Memorials may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society or Westminster Presbyterian Church.
