Shannon R Hux

Shannon Ray Edward Hux, 39, of Port Huron, was called home to be with our Father in heaven on Sunday, July 10, 2016.

He was born October 21, 1976 in Port Huron.

Shannon was a musician and jack of all trades. He was a member of the Pentecostals of DeLand and Vision Quest Recovery.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Frank (Cookie) Knight Jr. of Orlando, Florida; his siblings, Sonya (Shawn) Ling of Port Huron, David Hux of Alpena, Ryan Longtin of Polk City, Florida, and Matt Kerssen, Marissa Larson and Alicia Kerssen, all of Orlando; two grandmothers, Doreen Hux of Novi and Linda Knight of Houston, Texas; and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, DeFawn Hux; and grandparents, Sharon and Frank Knight Sr. and Norwood Hux Sr.

Although Shannon's life has ended, we will hold on to all the wonderful memories that he has left us.

A memorial service to celebrate and honor the life of Shannon will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2016 in Charles Schoor VFW Post 796.
