Jeffry Fleury
Jeffry Daniel Fleury, 53, of El Dorado Hills, California, died March 10, 2016 at his home surrounded by friends, family and much love.
He was born August 7, 1962 in Port Huron. He attended Port Huron Area Schools, graduating from Port Huron High School in 1980. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. After his discharge in 1986, Jeff made his home in California until 1996, when his family returned to the Port Huron Area. While in Michigan, Jeff was very involved in his daughter’s activities, coaching sports and Destination Imagination, volunteering in the classroom and serving as president of the Thomas Edison PTA.
Returning to California in 2004, Jeff was employed as a Software Engineer at Intel Corp. in Folsom. He was much loved by his co-workers for his generosity, his kindness and especially his love of a good gag.
Jeff is survived by his daughters, Kelly and Lisa; granddaughter, Elisia; his fiancée, Dina Venturo Fulgar; parents, Theresa (Wayne) Stickney and Dennis (Beverly) Fleury; siblings, Kimberly, Roger (Gina), Kevin (MaryBeth) and Charlie Fleury, Gary (Tina) Louks, Cheryl (Jon) Hall, MaryAnn (Brian) Kendezierski and Rod (Nancy) Stickney-Carson; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who adored him and called Jeff “Uncle Disney”; and his beloved Lab, Lily.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 6, 2016 in Holy Trinity Parish St. Stephen Catholic Church, with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery with Military Honors.
Memorials may be made to Make a Wish Foundation or to the family.
