Timothy R Monzo

Timothy Ryan Monzo, 53, of Port Huron, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016.

He was born August 21, 1963 in Port Huron to the late Rudolph J. and Marilyn M. Monzo and was a lifelong area resident. He married Deborah A. Bryson on March 15, 1986.

Tim was a welder with High Seas, Inc. He was an avid bow hunter. He enjoyed spending time with his boys, teaching them how to hunt, fish and show respect to the outdoors, animals and people. He was a very courageous fighter who overcame any battle put before him.

He is survived by his sons, Ryan and Dustin Monzo of Port Huron and their mother, Debbie Monzo; two brothers, Tony Monzo of Chesterfield and Andy Monzo of Ira Township; a sister, Melody (Scott) Heckendorn of Jeddo; nephews, Steven and Dylan; nieces, Stefanie, Ciara and Kacee; and lifelong friends, Jim and Jenny Hill, Tim Bark, Richie Farnsworth, Bill Genaw, Debbie Jones, Dawn Monzo and Carolyn & Jerry Bryson. He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandmother, Gladys Middleton.

A celebration of life party will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of St. Clair County SNAP or the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
