Robert J "Bobby" Mason Jr.

Robert John “Bobby” Mason, Jr., 31, of Fort Gratiot, died unexpectedly Friday, September 9, 2016 of natural causes.

He was born May 21, 1985 to Renee and Robert John Mason, Sr.

Bobby was a machinist with Yen Group LLC, formerly Royal Oak Boring and had attended Port Huron Northern High School and SC4. He was a talented guitar player, enjoyed playing video games and working with electronics, and was a focused problem solver and hard worker. More than anything, Bobby loved his family and was known for his wonderful laugh and happy joking personality that was truly contagious. He was strong, compassionate, and will be forever missed.

He is survived by his parents; siblings, William “Billy” Mason (Courtney Majewski) and Jessica Mason (Andrew Cook); grandparents, Lawrence Mason (Edna Harrington) and William and Donna Galbraith; several dear aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends, especially Darren Troy, who was like a brother.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Verlyn Mason, Barbara Brackenbury, and John F. Fuller; and two uncles.

Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. Tuesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday, September 14, 2016 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.
