Janette M Kezal

July 31st, 1944 to September 13th, 2016

Janette Marie “Girlfriend” Kezal, 72, of Ruby, went home to be made whole again by the one who made her, her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 13, 2016.

She was born July 31, 1944 in Mt. Vernon, New York to the late Joseph and Helen Kezal.

Janette was a genuine soul. You knew when she was happy and, by golly, definitely when she was not. She had no idea the impact she made on each and every person she met. She overcame what seemed like the impossible here on earth. She was a very strong woman and made a bad day into a miraculous day. She has been set free from pain and is now running, riding her bike, laughing and joking with those who went before her.

Janette's legacy will live on in her sisters, Karen McDougal and Ronnie (Lou) Matos; sister-in-law, Joanne L. Kezal; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, along with a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her niece, Lisa Ann Matis; great-niece Tori JoLynne Kezal; and brother and best friend, Richard Kezal.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2016 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.

Janette will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 30, 2016 in Holy Trinity Parish St. Stephen Catholic Church. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Port Huron Twp.

If you are planning on expressing sympathy by sending flowers, the family requests live perennials to plant in a memory garden.

Today is a beautiful day. A day to remember a very special person. A person who taught so many people to love without boundaries. A person who, no matter the situation she was going through, would still laugh and mean it.
