Mary J Vincent
Mary Jane Vincent, 90, of Fort Gratiot died Tuesday, October 4, 2016 after a long illness.
She was born May 13, 1926 in Flint, to the late William T. and Doris M. Pattison. She married Everett D. “Pete” Vincent on her 20th birthday in Grace Episcopal Church, Port Huron.
May Jane and Pete made their home in various parts of the United States and the world, including several years in Orleans, France. She was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews and collected teddy bears.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Pete; sister, Nancy L. Hool; brother-in-law, Ted (Sharon) Vincent; nieces and nephews, Nancy Little, John (Lorri) Hool; Rebecca (Brian) Thomas, Gregory (Denise) Vincent, Terry Lynn Dumont, Timothy Vincent, Calvin (Patty) Vincent, and Clinton Vincent; and several great and great great nieces and nephews, including her namesake, Maria Rayevskiy.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Billy L. Pattison; brothers-in-law, Lee Hool, Donald (Beverly) Vincent, Thomas Vincent, Gail Vincent, and Larry Vincent; nephew, Trace Vincent; nephews-in-law, James Little and Tommy Dumont; and niece-in-law, Kay Vincent.
Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2016 in the Blue Water Lodge Chapel. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.
Burial will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
