Sheila L McNaughton

Sheila L. McNaughton, 83, of Port Huron, met her Savior face to face on Monday, November 7, 2016.

She was born on September 26, 1933 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to the late Milton and Maxine Sutton. Sheila married Don McNaughton on February 27, 1953 and together they lived a life filled with love, laughter and faith until Don's death in February 1983.

Sheila graduated from Port Huron High School. She worked for AT&T in Port Huron, chose to devote herself to her family and home and then worked for 15 years as the Office Manager at Ross Bible Church, serving her church family with great joy. She loved the Lord and spent her entire life teaching Sunday School classes, Adult Bible Studies and leading a Singles Ministry. Sheila delighted in spending time with family and friends and enjoyed traveling, having visited all 50 states and over 30 countries.

She is survived by her daughters, Wendy, Carol, Lori and Patti McNaughton; sisters, Peggy (Bill) Warner, Meredith (Art) Potbury and Sandy (Fred) Haas; sisters-in-law, Margaret Sutton and Beverly McNaughton; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don; brother, Glenn; sister, Claudette; brothers-in-law, Jack, Bill and Frank McNaughton; and sister-in-law, Helen Morden.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 11, 2016 in Ross Bible Church with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Pastor Steve Scott will officiate.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Gratiot Township.
