Oramel L Rushton
Oramel Lee Rushton, 81, of Kimball Township, died Friday, November 18, 2016.
He was born August 5, 1935 in Port Huron to the late Telford and Mabel Rushton. He married Lanina B. Hunt on May 16, 1957 in Angola, Indiana.
Oramel worked as a manager of Vlasic Foods until his retirement. He loved to hunt, fish, listen to country music, play the guitar and travel, but most of all, he loved his family.
He is survived by his wife, Lanina; children, Elizabeth Rushton, Marlene (Harold) Delor, Diane Farrington, Linda (Woody) Trombley, Debbie Rushton, Oramel “Butch” (Mary) Rushton, Craig Rushton and Lorrie (Jeremy) Moore; 168 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brothers, Merle (Ilene) Rushton and George (Irene) Koleman; sisters, Norma Robinson and Pat (Robert) Koncyk; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Hollis; brothers, Gene Rushton, Dale Rushton and Johnny Koleman; and sisters, Marie Morley, Eva Gerrow and Katherine Rushton.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-9 pm Tuesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, November 23, 2016 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate. Burial will follow in Caswell Cemetery. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
