Gerald L Muckenhirn

Gerald Lee Muckenhirn, Sr., 78, of Marysville, passed from this earth on Saturday, December 3, 2016.

He was born March 15, 1938 in Goodison, Michigan, to the late Willis and Marian Muckenhirn. He married Santos M. “Sandy” Martinez on December 5, 1980 in Rochester, Michigan.

Mr. Muckenhirn owned and operated the Arrow Fence Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and having a good time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy of Marysville; his children, Chet (Elli) Muckenhirn of Connecticut, Chris (Denise) Muckenhirn of Waterford, Gail Evans of Shelby Township, Gerald (Lisa) Muckenhirn, Jr. of Dryden and Gene (Stacy) Muckenhirn of Rochester Hills; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Joanne (Clayt) Salk of Port Charlotte, Florida, Earl (Janet) Muckenhirn of South Carolina, Marilyn Tuttle of Wisconsin, Dale (Carole) Muckenhirn of Troy, Jeannie Combs of Clinton Township; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Whitney Muckenhirn; son-in-law, Roger Evans; sister-in-law, Genevieve Muckenhirn; and brother-in-law, Fred Tuttle.

Private services will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery in Pontiac.

Memorials may be made to Blue Water Hospice.
