Kaye M Hight

Kaye Marion Hight, 73, of St. Clair, died Saturday, December 3, 2016.

She was born April 28, 1943 in Detroit to the late John and Marion McCampbell. She married Garrett Ross Hight on November 20, 1962 in East Detroit. He preceded her in death on February 2, 2013.

Kaye was a long time member of the Marysville United Methodist Church. Always smiling, her cheerful demeanor endeared her to many. She was very caring and would go out of her way for others. Family and friends cherished her kind, thoughtful acts. Kaye had a passion for working on puzzles, crosswords and reading mysteries. She was a horse enthusiast and loved watching birds.

She is survived by her three children, Loryn (Gerald) Retell, Mark (Dawn) Hight and Steve (Angie) Hight; seven grandchildren, Wayne, Samantha, April, Rocco, Kylie, Derek & Dayna; two brothers, Donald (Donna) McCampbell and Douglas (Kim) McCampbell; two sisters-in-law, Gail Berggren and Joyce (Michael) Enlow; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. on Thursday in the Marysville Funeral Home, 1200 Michigan Avenue.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, December 9, 2016 in Marysville United Methodist Church. The Reverend Barbara Welbaum will officiate.

Inurnment will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.

Memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
