Caroline Soulliere
Caroline Soulliere, 86, of Grant Township, died Saturday, December 3, 2016.
She was born on September 2, 1930 in Smiths Creek to the late Leo and Daisy May Gaffney. She married Henry J. “Harry” Soulliere on January 28, 1950 in Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Smiths Creek. He died August 18, 2013.
Mrs. Soulliere worked as a secretary and then Clerk for Kimball Township. She participated in the VNA Adult Day Care program and in her younger years enjoyed crafting, crocheting, and traveling.
She is survived by seven children, Darlene (Glenn) Tolan of Kenockee, Henry L. (Ida) Soulliere of Kimball, Larry (Kim) Soulliere of Ruby, Leo (Phyllis) Soulliere of Kimball, Dan (Linda) Soulliere of Fort Gratiot, Bob (Renee) Soulliere and Ken (Kathy) Soulliere, all of Port Huron; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Richard Soulliere; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Fred, Bill, Bob, and Jim Gaffney.
A funeral service will take place at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2016 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visiting beginning at 1:00 p.m. The Reverend Donald R. Doerzbacher of Our Saviour Lutheran Church will officiate.
Memorials may be made to VNA Adult Day Care or Blue Water Hospice.
