Aby J. Adams, Jr.

Aby James Adams Jr., 75, of Port Huron, transformed to Glory on Friday, December 16, 2016.

He was born November 2, 1941 in Bay City, Texas, to the late Annie Belle and Aby Adams Sr. He married Stephanie Smith on September 14, 2002 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mr. Adams was a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service. He served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed golf, and loved his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie; four children, Stan, Matthew, Abby and Robert; nine grandchildren, Alexys, Austin, Colvin, Winter, Juan, Stephanie, Bobby, Mia and Nate; a great great grandchild, Caiza; a sister, Patricia Edwards; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2016 in Metropolitan Baptist Church. The Rev. Anthony King will officiate.

Burial will be in Allied Veterans Cemetery, Port Huron.
