Christine Miller

Christine Denise Miller, 53, of Port Huron, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 15, 2016, while holding her daughter’s hand.

Christine was born on April 25, 1963 to Garfield and Marilyn Miller.

Christine was the sunshine on a cloudy day. She brought light into every room that she entered. Even on her worst day, she cared more about making others laugh than she did about her own pain. She wore her heart on her sleeve and would give the shirt off of her back to anyone in need. Christine loved spending time with her grandson, Alonso, and very much enjoyed telling everyone about all of her grandchildren. She made sure she always told her children and grandchildren how much she loved them “To the moon and back twice over”. Christine always said that her greatest accomplishments were her children. She was so proud to let everyone know that. Christine also enjoyed dancing and laughing with her many friends. Friendship was so important to her.

Although Christine will be missed by many, she will live on in our hearts and we will always have many great memories of her.

She is survived by her son, Bernard Hillock; daughter, Sharlene Hillock; her grandchildren; boyfriend, Matt; and several close friends and family who loved her very much. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn Miller; and brothers, Mike and Paul Miller.

There will be a Celebration of Life to remember the life of Christine at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2016 in Jesus Lighthouse, 502 14th Street, Port Huron. Pastor David Weaver will officiate.
