Valerie DeLong

Valerie DeLong, 81, of Fort Gratiot, died Saturday, December 17, 2016.

She was born July 2, 1935 in Detroit to the late Angelo and Lillian Boccia. She married Howard G. DeLong on April 28, 1970 in Mt. Clemens. He preceded her in death on September 15, 2012.

She is survived by her children, Dara Montagano of Valparaiso, Indiana, Catherine Sopha of Port Huron; four grandchildren, Christopher (Kaitlin) Montagano, Alex Montagano, Sadie Sopha, and Max Sopha.

Burial was in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.

Memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.
