Karen A Burgett

Karen Ann Burgett, 61, of Port Huron died Thursday, December 22, 2016.

She was born July 26, 1955 in Mt. Clemens to the late Robert and Barbara Burgett.

Karen worked as a nursing aid in an assisted living facility before her retirement. She was an artist and loved animals. She was a selfless person, a mentor, and a loving mother.

She is survived by two children, Zackary Burgett, and Matte (Joseph) Gehring; two grandchildren, Audrey and Tanner Gehring; a brother, Robert (Kristin) Burgett; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Burgett.

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 24, 2016 in Victory Baptist Church located at 1550 Michigan Ave., Marysville, MI. The Reverend Don Barth, Jr. will officiate.
