Walter G Gratz

Walter G. Gratz, 49, of Port Huron Township, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 28, 2016.

He was born April 29, 1967 in Garden City, Michigan to the late Gerald and Jeanetta Gratz. He married Lisa Marie Kleinstiver on September 27, 1997 in Port Huron.

Mr. Gratz was a firefighter with Kimball Township, a paramedic with Medstar for over 20 years and an instructor at Baker College. He enjoyed woodworking, cooking, baking, fishing and spending time with his children.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa; two children, Spencer Gratz and Savanna Gratz; four siblings, Ed (Tammy) Gratz, Tina (Jerry) Jenkins, Tony (Andrea) Gratz and Marion Abhold; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, including special aunt, Marge (Bob) Dowell.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2016 in Gateway Church, 1234 Sixth Street, Marysville with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Rev. Dallas Berry will officiate.
