Ethel L Thomason

Ethel Lee Thomason, 89, of Ypsilanti and formerly of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.

She was born July 5, 1927 in Orrville, Alabama to the late Lawyer Bennett and Patsy Smith.

Ethel touched many lives and was a wonderful babysitter to many in Port Huron.

She leaves to mourn her passing four sons, Louis (Marilyn) Moncrief, Billy Joe (Flora) Moncrief, James Moncrief and Timothy Thomason; three daughters, Eliza Lee Scott, Patsy Mae Stallworth and Elona Louise Thomason; 12 grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Silas Moncrief Jr. and Ozzie Thomason; son, John Moncrief; grandson, Anthony Moncrief; and step-daughter, Claudia Blackmon.

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 9, 2017 in Restoration Christian Community Church with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Reverend Carl Miller will officiate.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
