Gerald R "Jerry" Kinna

October 21st, 1945 to January 6th, 2017

Gerald Ray “Jerry” Kinna, 71, of Port Huron, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017 from complications of cancer.

He was born October 21, 1945 in Port Huron to the late Orville “Todd” and Edna Kinna.

Jerry served his country in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS BELKNAP DLG-26 during the Vietnam War. He was kind, loving and valued family above all else. His work included a career at the Grand Trunk Railroad as well as time spent working at his wife’s business, Biernot’s Carpet One.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 38 years, Michele; a son, Lee (Michelle) Kinna; a granddaughter, Rachel Little; cousins, nieces, nephews, his wife’s siblings and a plethora of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Donald and Robert; and his in-laws, Vivian and Edward Biernot.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2017 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Navy and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard at 4 p.m.

Private burial will be in Allied Veterans Cemetery.
