Jakob M Simpson
Jakob Mathew Simpson, 22, of Marysville, died Wednesday, January 11, 2017.
He was born November 23, 1994 in Port Huron.
Jakob graduated from Port Huron High School in 2012 and was working at Jet’s Pizza in Marysville. He won many trophies and ribbons for trap and skeet shooting in 4-H. Jakob was friendly and could make everyone laugh. He greatly enjoyed family camping trips and time with his brother, Zachary. He was very close with his large family, his many friends and the crew at Jets Pizza.
He is survived by his parents, Rachel and Eric Goodman; a brother, Zachary Stone; great-grandparents, Chuck (Joan) DeLand; grandparents, Janet Tack, John Hyde, Bobbie Jean Goodman and Gerald Goodman; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Darren Tack in 2011; and grandparents, Liz Hyde, Larry Simpson and Maurice Tack.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, January 16, 2017 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Rev. Max Amstutz will officiate.
Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township. Pallbearers will be David Hyde, Charlie Simpson, Eric Goodman, Jerry Goodman, Zachary Stone and John Hyde.
