Janice K Olsen
Janice “Kay” Olsen, 82, of Goodells, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 6, 2025.
Kay was born March 8, 1943 in Port Huron to the late James R. “Reggie” and Merle Olsen.
She graduated from Capac High School in 1961 where she was known for her talented art work. She then earned her bachelor’s degree from Grace College and Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana and master’s degree from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. Kay’s dream was to work at Amy Carmichael’s school in India, which she did for several years. Kay loved attending church services and being in the outdoors, enjoying all four seasons. She especially liked hiking and evening strolls. Kay will be dearly missed by her friends and will be remembered for the many random acts of kindness that she performed.
