Clifford J Van Hoey

Clifford James Van Hoey, 65, of Port Huron, died Sunday, January 29, 2017.

He was born May 23, 1951 in Detroit to the late James and Rita Van Hoey.

Clifford was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 521. He was a very caring person who volunteered for many agencies. He enjoyed golfing, was an avid University of Michigan football fan and was a devoted uncle.

He is survived by his brothers, Michael (Darla) Van Hoey, Joseph Van Hoey, and Gilbert (Carrie) Van Hoey; 7 nieces; a nephew; and several great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, February 2, 2017 in Holy Trinity Parish St. Joseph Catholic Church, Port Huron. The Reverend Jeffrey Allan will officiate. Inurnment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.

Memorials may be made to the Knights of Columbus.
