Eileen D. White, 84, of Port Huron, died Saturday, February 4, 2017.
She was born October 13, 1932 in Centerville, Michigan to the late Alex and Isabel (Harpe) Brow. The family moved to McMillan, Michigan in the Upper Peninsula when Eileen was two. She married Thomas Edward White on January 23, 1954 at St. Thomas Church in Ann Arbor and they moved to Port Huron. He died July 14, 1984.
Eileen worked at Michigan Bell Telephone until she and Thomas began their family. She also worked in her husband’s CPA office and later at John Biewer Sporting Goods for many years. She was an avid Red Wings and Tigers fan and was very interested in politics.
She is survived by her son, Thomas E. (Lisa) White Jr. of Raleigh, North Carolina; daughter, Lynne (Frank) Mehler of Port Huron; grandchildren, Chris (Stacey) Painter, Elizabeth Painter, Dylan Mehler, Katelyn (Eric) Cirksena, Kristen (Bill) Kester, and Andrew Morris; great grandchildren, Alexis, Laura, and Avery; brother, Noah (Janice) Brow of Curtis; sisters, Dorothy Kenny of Newberry and Marie Green of Santa Ana, California; many nieces and nephews; and close friend of many years, Teri Morris. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel; sisters, Lucille Jaronsen, Helen Kelenske, Florence Cobe, Louise Daisey, Jane Taylor, and Pat Henning; and brothers, Ted, Joseph, Elmer and August Brow.
Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6- 8 p.m. Tuesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Yale.
