Richard W Thompson

Richard Thompson, 60, of Port Huron, died Saturday, February 25, 2017.

He was born October 26, 1956 in Port Huron to the late Donald and Marjorie Thompson. He married Kathi Jo Bezenah on August 20, 2016 in Port Huron.

Mr. Thompson was a driver with Marcotte. He enjoyed working and spending time outdoors, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Kathi Jo; three stepchildren, Windy Albert (Timothy Porter), William (Stephanie) Bezenah and Harold (Lynn) Bezenah; nine grandchildren; siblings, Rick (Carrie) Duckworth, Linda Chancey, Ron Thompson, Randy (Theresa) Duckworth, Karen (Tom) Critchett, Bonnie Thompson (Dave Zammit), Kim (Ernie) Moutoux and Dawn Germonprez; a sister-in-law, Ida Thompson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Thompson; an infant daughter; his parents, Donald and Marjorie Thompson; his step-father, Edwin Duckworth; a sister, Linda Kovalski; and two brothers, Kent Duckworth and Jeff Thompson.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.
