Julius H LeFevere
Julius Henry LeFevere, 83, of Marysville, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017.
He was born December 12, 1933 in Detroit. He married Barbara Ann Furmack on February 20, 1954 in Detroit. She died May 6, 1987. He married Lucille Marie Woods on October 17, 1987 in Port Huron.
Mr. LeFevere served 22 years in the U.S. Air Force, including a tour in Thailand during the Vietnam War. He also worked for the Michigan Employment Security Commission for 20 years, specializing in job placement for veterans. He coached Little League baseball and was an avid Tigers fan. Julius and Lucille enjoyed traveling, camping, bowling and the casinos. He loved watching his grandkids play and adored his dog, Snickers.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Lucille; five children, Michael (Dawn) LeFevere, Nancy (David) Klei, Theresa (Larry) Skotzke, Brenda (Terry) Wright and Walter Woods Jr.; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, Thomas (Linda) Ermgodts; a sister, Mary Dale; a brother-in-law, Bill Dodd; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Rosette and Hector Ermgodts; his father, Julius LeFevere; and a sister, Shirley Dodd.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Rev. James Arwady will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Air Force and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
Burial will be in Christian Memorial Cultural Center, Peck.
