Jack D Wright

Jack David Wright, 74, of Fort Gratiot Township, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at home surrounded by his family.

He was born November 3, 1942 in Port Huron to the late Charles and Beatrice Wright. He married Marilyn Ritzert on October 24, 1964 in Port Huron.

Jack served for 16 years in the U.S. Army National Guard. He was also employed with Acheson Colloid as a chemist and Health and Safety manager for 40 years.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marilyn; children, Jack (Jackie) Wright Jr., Christopher (Lori) Wright, Heather (Mike) Birkholz and Rebecca (Jim) Joseph; 4 grandchildren; sister, Sharon (Brian) Harrington; sisters-in-law, Geraldine and Joyce Wright; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas and Timothy Wright.

Private family services will be held.
