David Charles Kelley, 79, of Fort Gratiot Township, died Saturday, April 1, 2017.
He was born July 22, 1937 in Port Huron to the late Emerson and Elizabeth Kelly. He married Phyllis McAuley Hagle on March 22, 1980 in Port Huron.
David was employed with Banner Linen for many years. He was a member of Pine Grove Lodge #11 F. & A. M. and St. Paul Lutheran Church. He was known for the pancake suppers he would serve throughout the area.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Phyllis; son, David Kelley Jr.; daughters, Wendy Kelley and Kimberley (Scott) Vandevoorde; step daughters, Brenda (Dale) Phipps, Vicki (Don) Hagle, Jodi (Larry) Mireles and Tracy Hubble; grandchildren, Clayton (Larissa) Long, Taylor Kelley, Sky Kelley, Jessica (Jason) Lee, Jeremy (Amy) Johnson, Trevor and Tara Phipps, Christopher (Katelyn) Deem, Alisha and Natasha Mireles, Mark Hubble Jr. and Jax Hubble; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Janet Vanluven; sister-in-law, Carolyn Woolman; brother-in-law, Cecil Ronald (Patricia) McAuley; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jade Kelley in 2009; son-in-law, Mark Hubble in 2014; brothers, Howard and William Kelley and sisters, Alice Lamb and Doris Kidd.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Tuesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. His grandson, Jason Lee will officiate.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
