Cora Mae Hosburgh

Cora Mae Hosburgh, 101, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, April 11, 2017.

She was born January 27, 1916 in Thompsonville, Michigan, to the late Albert and Minnie Anderson. She married Charles C. Hosburgh on November 10, 1945 in Richmond, Michigan. He died July 16, 1993.

Mrs. Hosburgh was a member of First Congregational Church. She worked for Chrysler Corporation before her daughter was born. She enjoyed taking care of everyone, including pets, neighbors and her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Judith (Christopher) Scholfield; a granddaughter, Heather Scholfield; a special cousin, Elmer (Irene) Otto; and lots of nieces, nephews and cousins, including special niece, Bobbie Scarbrough. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Harry, Robert, Arthur, Albert and Charles Anderson.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 17, 2017 in Riverlawn Cemetery Chapel. The Rev. Max Amstutz will officiate.
