Margaret Mary Godley, 79, of Marysville, died Monday, April 17, 2017.
She was born May 14, 1937 in Detroit to the late Kenneth and Margaret Moran. She married Gary Godley on October 27, 1962 in Warren.
Mrs. Godley worked in food service for Utica Community Schools. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, taking care of her home, and listening to classical piano. She loved doing things for others, spending time with her granddaughter and going to their “little piece of heaven” up north.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gary; three children, Carrie (Greg) Genoff, Scott (Rachel) Godley and Stacey Wright; a granddaughter, Taylor Marie Godley; three sisters, Dolly (Will) Shutter, Gail (Dick) Kukuk and Marie (Jim) Joswick; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday in the Maryville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 21, 2017 in the Marysville Funeral Home. The Rev. James Arwady will officiate.
