Helen E Therrien

Helen E. Miller Therrien, 90, of Marysville, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 13, 2017.

She was born September 20, 1926 in Port Huron to the late Fred and Ethel Miller. She married Lawrence E. Therrien on September 21, 1946 in Trinity Lutheran Church. For 50 years they made their home and raised their son on Georgia Avenue in Marysville.

Helen was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her nieces, Kelli Amaro and Jill Jedrzejewski; nephew, Stephen Therrien; brother-in-law, Donald Therrien; dear friends, Beverly and Roy Hyde and their children, Sherry and Ernie; her longtime neighbors and adopted family, Missy Smith, Dr. Danille Finch, Derek Smith, Chuck Smith and Dawn Peltz; her caregivers who loved her very much, Bernadette Malooley, Jamie Dietz, Judi Gerber and Wilma Goodwin. She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Therrien in 1963; and her brother, Lloyd and sister, Gertrude.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 17, 2017 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Reverend Mark Madson will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
