Donald Rolland “Butch” Leaym Jr., 69, of Kimball Township, died Wednesday, May 31, 2017.

He was born August 1, 1947 in Port Huron to the late Donald R. and Marjorie Leaym. He married Eva Levitt on December 7, 2001 in Port Huron.

Butch was a self-employed plumber and cement layer for many years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers and spending time with his dog, Chewy.

He is survived by his wife, Eva; children, Karrie (Jeffery) Lask, Melissa Warner, Donald Leaym III and Jason (Teresa) Leaym; step-children, Mary Dobson, Clinton (Leanne) Dobson, Dawn (Brian) Loxton and Mark Dobson; 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; siblings, Clayton (Ruth) Leaym, Bob (Ruth Ann) Leaym and Diane (Andy) Higgins; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Lynn Leaym; and stepdaughter, Wendy Dobson.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in Allied Veterans Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
