Valerie C Johnston

Valerie Carolyn Johnston, 89, of Marysville, died Sunday, June 4, 2017 at home surrounded by her family.

She was born March 4, 1928 in Port Huron to the late Harvey and Hattie Pringle and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Johnston was employed with American Tape Company prior to her retirement. She was a Life Member of the Marysville American Legion Post 449 Auxiliary.

She is survived by two children, Susan Smith and Sandra (Ashley) Grant; five grandchildren, Kellie (Dan) Dunlap, Denise Smtih, David Smith, William Grant and Shane (Stacy) Grant; 10 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two stepchildren, Michael (Penny) Johnston and Patty Johnston; her sister, Doris Ravin and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband William R. Johnston; brother, Karl Pringle and sister, Shirley Webb.

Private services will be held at the Riverlawn Cemetery Columbarium.
