Gary A Maness

Gary A. Maness, 59, of Port Huron, died Friday, June 16, 2017.

He was born June 16, 1958 in Sarnia, Ontario to the late Leonard Ace and Freida Maness. He married Debra Lou Harris.

Mr. Maness worked as a carpenter and was a member of Aamjiwnaang, Chippewa’s of Sarnia First Nation. He enjoyed swimming, fishing and barbeques and loved his grandchildren and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Debra; three sons, Jeremy Maness, Allen Maness and Brian (Nicole) Harris; a daughter, Annette Peeling; a grandson, Alexander Ace Maness; Alexander’s mother, Christina; a sister, Beverly (Bob) Carter; brothers, Gregory (Karen) Maness and Jeffery Maness; good friends, Ed Forton and Charlie Armstrong and family; and his loving dog, Freida. He was preceded in death by a son, Garrett Maness on July 3, 2016.
