Melissa K Wiseman

Melissa KayLaine Wiseman, 36, of Richmond, died Friday, August 4, 2017.

She was born August 8, 1980 in Port Huron to Kim and Terry Munce. She married Daniel Wiseman on May 7, 2016 in Port Huron.

Melissa graduated from Port Huron High School and received her master’s degree in social work from Oakland University. She was a substance abuse therapist with Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center and was able to help many people through her work. She enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers, but most of all she loved her children.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Wiseman; children, Baylee Huffman and Dylan Latham; step-son, Daniel Wiseman; parents, Kim and Terry Munce; brothers, Addison (Sara) Munce and Matt (Sarah) Munce; grandmother, Georgia Conrad; fathers-in-law, Daniel (Janet) Wiseman and Jerry (Angie) Britton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday in the Marysville Funeral Home, 1200 Michigan Ave, Marysville.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, August 11, 2017 in Colonial Woods Missionary Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. The Reverend Howard Colby will officiate.

Memorials may be made to her children’s educational fund in care of Daniel Wiseman.
